Day 1: City Tour – Combined excursion
Schedule: 2:00pm to 6:30pm (Half day)
Description:
We’ll start with a visit of Cusco’s Cathedral (Sacred Family and Triumph’s Church). Then, we’ll go to the Great Qoricancha, or Temple of the Sun. To complete the tour, we’ll visit the archaeological parks of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.

Day 2: Sacred Valley
Schedule: 8:30am to 7:00pm (Full day)
Description:
We’ll pick you up between 8:30 and 9:00am, and travel to Pisaq by tour bus. There, we’ll visit Pisaq’s archaeological complex and handicraft market. Afterward, we’ll proceed toward Urubamba, where we’ll enjoy a buffet-style lunch of national and international food. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Inca Fortress of Ollantaytambo and, on the return trip to Cusco, we’ll stop in Chinchero to visit the village’s archaeological sites and traditional markets. Finally, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving at 7:00pm.

Day 3 and 4: Machu Picchu
Day 3: Cusco – Aguas Calientes
Itinerary:
We’ll pick you up at your hotel between 6:30 and 6:45am, and then take you to Cusco’s train station. After a 4-hour trip, we’ll arrive at the village of Aguas Calientes. Having settled at the hostel, you’ll be free to visit the village, enjoy the thermal baths (optional) and rest.
Day 4: Aguas Calientes—Machu Picchu—Aguas Calientes—Cusco
Itinerary:
Following an early-morning breakfast, we’ll pick you up at your hostel to take the bus to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (Machu=Old and Picchu=Mountain). There, you’ll have a guided tour of two and one-half hours followed by free time to visit Machu Picchu on your own. Finally, we’ll board the bus to Aguas Calientes, and in the afternoon, we’ll return to Cusco by train.
